CivilizASIAN is a crossover Lunar New Year production in Pittsburgh that Sean Gao conceptualized, produced, directed and performed in. The 2025 event featured his 6-WIRE jazz/world ensembles, professional artists he invited and local community choirs and dancers.

The programming is in a variety show style and showcases Sean Gao’s work in engaging local Asian Americans with the power of performing art celebrating their cultures and history.
